Kara loves her Daddy

If no one else can soothe her when she's fussy, it's time to pass her to daddy. More than once he's calmed her down when even mommy couldn't. Kara loves to hear his voice telling her it's ok... daddy's got her. Ben is her hero!

We're Home!!!

They released us today from the hospital... Yay!!! Aubrie is still pretty sore but happy to be home. Kara is doing great. God's blessed us with a very easy baby and we're just so proud of her. Each time we hold her, it's a miracle to think she is really ours. God is just so good.

Baby Kara Hope

Kara Hope was born today at 5:39 PM.  She was 7 pounds 14.7 ounces, 21 inches long.  Kara decided to flip around during labor, so she was trying to come out butt first.  Aubrie was rushed into surgery to have a C-section.  Baby and Mom are doing good.  Pictures should be up tonight with more pictures in the following days.

Preparing for Christmas...

We got our Christmas tree up today. I just love the sights and smells of Christmas. It's such a beautiful time of year.
Ben got the snowplow mounted to our truck too. All ready for the snow to come!

We are patiently awaiting the arrival our our sweet little girl, Kara Hope.
