Three Cute Videos of Kara

Here she is popping her mouth just like her Uncle Zack taught her to.

Here she is really snapping her fingers. The big snaps you hear are Ben's but the cute little ones are all Kara!

And here is Daddy just having fun.

Kara Snapping her Fingers!

Kara saw Grandma snap her fingers the other day and since then has been fascinated with finger snappin'. We caught her trying to snap her fingers and she actually made a couple of snaps. I tried to catch it on video for you. You can see that she is trying... no really good snaps though. I'll keep trying to capture a video of it.

Playing

This is just a snapshot of what our days are like. She is getting really good at moving herself around (though not quite crawling yet) and playing by herself. She pulled that breakfast puzzle down all by herself and was having so much fun playing with it. She didn't even notice me watching her till I called her name.

She brings so much joy into our home each day. What a blessing she is to Ben and me!

Kara's First Family Camp!

Well, we took Kara to her very first Family Camp and she did just great. She was able to stay on her schedule during the days, though night time was a bit rough. It got quite chilly at night (silly ND weather), so we ended up waking up several times in the middle of the night with her trying to keep her warm and quiet so she wouldn't wake the other campers. We only ended up spending two nights out there, but it turned out to be enjoyable and memorable. It will be an annual tradition that I hope she grows to love as much as I do!

Here's some pictures of her taking her bath outside. Yes, her cousin Gabriel was jealous of how cool she was! He couldn't understand why he couldn't take a bath too.

Here's some pictures Mom took of her playing out near the baseball diamond. Kara was happy playing with a stick she found:

Until she started eating the stick and Grandma took it away!

She showed obvious displeasure at losing her precious stick.
